We are Kenosha Strong.

Kenosha, Wisconsin is a city known for its friendly people and its beautiful shoreline views of Lake Michigan. Like many cities across America, its citizens have been focused on daily routines: caring for loved ones, working or finding work, enjoying warm summer days, and the tranquility of sleep.

On August 24, 2020 this changed when rioters set fire and looted businesses in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Shots were fired into city streets. Gasoline bottle bombs were tossed into homes. Residents no longer recognized their city as it had turned into a war zone overnight.

Today, buildings have been reduced to rubble and fires smolder as National Guard patrols and barricades line the streets. Evening curfews and entry into and out of the city have been imposed.

But the people of Kenosha are diverse and resilient. Peaceful demonstrations and candlelight services continue. The city is working together to clean-up and rebuild.

We will get through this together. We are Kenosha Strong.

Mission

Kenosha Strong unites the experiences of our community to assist businesses, raise needed funds through donations and merchandise sales, to overcome hardship by supporting each other, and donating 100% of proceeds to rebuild Kenosha.
